Biography

Jacqueline O’Shea is a certified physician assistant specializing in urgent care for patients three months and older. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. Jacqueline also completed a Bachelor of Arts in movement science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.

Jacqueline has been interested in medicine since she was young. Needing stitches when she was a child was the ultimate turning point that made her want to pursue medicine as a career. During training, Jacqueline loved the diversity her surgery and emergency medicine rotations offered and felt urgent care would provide her with the same unique experience. She loves all aspects of life as a physician assistant, but her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients and learning their stories. Jacqueline believes communication is the most important thing to do when caring for patients. She says, “Listening to each patient and figuring out the best way to help them medically is vital to their treatment plan.” Jacqueline’s care philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were her own family or friend.

Jacqueline is originally from Slingerlands, NY, and is a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, NY. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, family, and friends. Jacqueline likes spending her summers on the boat at Sacandaga Lake, watching sports, and being outdoors.
